Using the font “Font name” in versions of Xcode prior to 4.2 may have unexpected results.

Steps:

[ Xcode version : 4.3.1 on Lion ]

1. Opens a .xib file which was directed

2. Go to View -> Utilities -> Show File Inspector, Change the value Development -> “4.3 (or greater)” under the Document Versioning
